Thinking about caribbean honeymoon destination?

There are so many things to prepare for when planning a wedding and thinking about caribbean honeymoon destinations. Everything from the location, to the guest list, to the music, to the photographer all need to be finalized and focused on when your wedding comes around. With all this planning to do, the honeymoon can often get overlooked. It’s sometimes the last thing couples think about as they stress about the big day, but it’s such an important and integral way to start a marriage off.
So how do you plan your honeymoon? Well, the first part to figure out is where you will go. Finding the ideal honeymoon destination takes time and consideration. This is your first trip as a married couple and should be looked at as the all important first step in your journey of marriage. A bad honeymoon location can start the marriage on the wrong foot and that’s the last thing you want. Here are some tips to finding the ideal honeymoon destination.
Choose Your Experience
The search for the ideal honeymoon begins by deciding what kind of honeymoon experience you want. Do you want one that offers rest and relaxation? Or one that offers adventure, culture, or shopping? Do you prefer unwinding on a beach in the Caribbean, or sight-seeing in an exotic old-world city like Paris or Rome? Perhaps your style is to hike, bike, and explore the great outdoors in places like South Africa, Australia, or India.
Of course keep in mind that whatever caribbean honeymoon destinations you choose will be affected by the distance away from where you live and the time you are able to travel. Some honeymooners are more limited than others, but this doesn’t preclude a couple from having an amazing time. And if you and your new spouse have different opinions about what constitutes the ideal honeymoon, than aim for a compromise. A trip to France can offer the bright lights and big city of Paris for a few days, while also offering a few days on the beautiful Mediterranean Coast. Compromise is what marriage is all about after all!
Set A Budget
Along with all other parts of a wedding, the honeymoon needs its own budget. And just like the wedding, it’s important to stay realistic. Although you may be desperate to take a 90-day world cruise for your honeymoon, it may be impractical when you check your bank account.
Many newlyweds definitely prefer a bit of luxury on their honeymoon, but if a 5-star resort is too expensive, stay at one for just one night while spending the rest of the trip at a moderately priced, but still nice, 2-3 star hotel. Pre-packaged honeymoon deals may be a great option depending on your budget and destination choice, but also beware. Sometimes these can be very inflexible and not really what you want.
Ask For Help & Prepare Yourself
Travel agencies as well as travel websites and blogs can be great sources to help streamline the planning of your honeymoon. Also, culling the advice of friends, family, and avid travelers can add to the choices for honeymoon destinations you may not have even thought of.
Make sure to prepare amply for your trip by seeing to it that your passport is up to date, any shots or immunizations are received, any necessary medications are filled in advance, and take travel time and unexpected issues into account when outlining your final plans. If you’ve never been to the place you’re going, allow time for the unexpected and don’t over plan.
Enjoy!
Last but not least, enjoy your trip. This will be a magical time when you can enjoy the beauty and sites of another locale for the first time in your lives as a married couple. Relax, have fun, and enjoy the opportunity to spend quality time with each other in your ideal honeymoon destination.
Is an All-Inclusive Honeymoon a Good Deal?

For many couples planning a honeymoon, it may very well be the first trip they plan on their own. With all of the honeymoon vacation packages out there, sometimes its hard to know what kind of trip to plan, and which honeymoon packages from which to choose. Some people think that by only choosing a flight and hotel, they will be saving money on the trip, and worrying about the meals and extras once you get there. I’m going to tell you why thats a very bad idea, and why you should go with an all-inclusive honeymoon package.
If you choose to try and find meals yourself, you may be in for an unpleasant surprise. If you can find a grocery store,(and you will most likely need to find a taxi to take you there), the prices may not be what you are expecting. If you have planned your honeymoon vacation on an island, groceries are much higher than what you may be used to. If you are planning on finding a nearby restaurant, which will also take a taxi each way, be ready for restaurants looking for tourists. Your wallet will take a beating, and your honeymoon vacation will not be nearly as memorable as it could be.
When my husband and I took our honeymoon, we were well advised from friends and family to go with an all inclusive honeymoon package. With one fee, from the second we stepped on the plane, everything was paid for. With only a wristband to identify ourselves, all bars, restaurants, coffee shops, health food drink bars, buffets, snack bars, room service, towels and games at the resort were included in the cost we paid upfront. It was nice not to have to carry cash everywhere, look for a local grocery store, or take taxis out of the resort to find a low priced restaurant.
All-inclusive honeymoon deals are easy enough to find on the Internet, or with a travel agent. A travel agent can search for great deals for you, and let you know what times of the year are best for each honeymoon destination. We went with Apple Vacations, and their customer service and timeliness was great, they were competitively priced, and we would definitely use them again. So, from an experienced point of view, an all inclusive honeymoon deal is worth not having to stress about money. After all, it’s your honeymoon, it should be a time of fun and relaxation with your new spouse.

Intimacy And Marriage: Planning Your Honeymoon

Almost as fun as planning your wedding is planning your honeymoon. You want your first trip together as husband and wife to be worth remembering and it’s tempting to take an ‘anything goes’ approach. After all, you’re likely to get lots of wedding gifts in the form of cold, hard cash so why not?
For your first or second honeymoon, it is the time where you want to have the most intimacy. When you arrive at your destination, you want to be able to eat and see the sights when you arrive, so you’ve got to use some discretion when making your arrangements. Many couples find that it is possible to have a great honeymoon, even if they’re sticking to a budget and all it takes is some preparation beforehand.
When is the best time to plan the honeymoon? Obviously sooner is better, especially if you intend to travel to a popular destination during peak season. But at a minimum, while you are putting together your wedding budget, it’s a good idea to allocate funds for this adventure together and work from there.
To help shape an suitable budget, you’ve got to think about your possibilities, and of course, you’ve got to be realistic. A good way to start scheduling your honeymoon is to think about the things you both like to do in your free time, think about places you’ve only dreamt of visiting, and think about what you realistically intend to do while away. Alternatively, you can also use the Internet or a travel agent to help you come up with honeymoon ideas.
Once you’ve selected a destination, it’s time to get busy making your travel arrangements. Special deals are out there, but you’ve got to be aggressive in your search for them. Don’t despair; it’ll likely be worth the effort. And the great deals might not always involve getting the lowest price. It’s the extras that’ll turn this regular trip into something extraordinary. Perhaps the deal includes getting a suite with a amazing view, or being greeted with a bottle of champagne.
When you’re left to only 3 months left until the wedding date, you should have your travel planning firmly in place. Know where you’re going, how you’re getting to the airport (after the reception) and once you arrive at your destination, how you’ll be getting to your accommodations. Once you’re in place, the rest of the vacation can run its course. If you wish, you can plan some day trips in advance. This far out, also make sure vaccinations and passports are current, if applicable.
A few weeks before your departure, start gathering the things you’ll bring with you on your honeymoon: camera and film/memory cards, swimsuits, day and evening wear, traveler’s checks, tickets, documents, confirmation numbers for ALL reservations (including person’s name if possible), and a bit of local currency for tipping. Set aside somewhere safe.
Then as the approaching days become more stressful than you can handle, close your eyes and picture yourselves lazily lying around your honeymoon suite with everything planned, with not a care in the world except how soon you’ll be able to return!

So you are going to get married. You will need to spend a lot of time when you are planning a wedding. As a matter of fact, you do not only plan for the wedding itself. You should also consider another important issue after your reception. Yes you have guessed right here! You need to consider your honeymoon so that you can have a wonderful trip!
In fact, it is always believed that the honeymoon is very important in a way that it is the first trip of the couple after they have married. As a result, you will need to choose the destination carefully. Of course you will need to choose the destination based on your preference. You will also need to think about your lifestyle when you choose the destination. For example, you may not want to go to places such as Bali if you do not love outdoor activities. On the other hand, you may probably consider places such as Mexico if you would like to discover more about the Maya culture.
As a matter of fact, you will need to consider your budget when you are choosing your honeymoon destination. For example, it can be very expensive for you to have a trip to North Pole. Though it will be a very romantic and special trip, you may not want to go on this trip if it is totally out of your budget. The idea here is that you will never give yourself any financial problem after your trip.
Phuket and Bali are very popular destinations when it comes to the idea of honeymoon. It will certainly fit brides and grooms who love sunshine and beach very much. This is why countries in South East Asia will be very good choices. There are tons of exotic beaches in Phuket and Bali. There are also a lot of beach resorts in these places. It is certainly perfect for honeymoon.
As discussed, there may be couples who love to explore the cultures of other countries. Mexico is of course a perfect option. You will be able to see a lot about the Maya culture. Yet, this is not your only option. There are also a lot of countries which will suit your taste. For instance, you can visit the Stone Henge in UK. When it comes to the idea of cultural trip, China and India are two countries you must consider. There are tons of historical sites in these countries. You may want to visit the great wall and forbidden city if you are planning to visit Beijing. On the other hand, you will visit Taj Mahal when you go to India!
One last point is that, you will need to consider the time of the year when you choose your honeymoon destination. It will not be a good idea to visit Nepal in June or July due to the monsoon season. This is why it is important to consider the time of the year. If you can consider all the above, you should be able to find a perfect honeymoon destination!
