Honeymoon Planning – Making Lasting Memories
November 4, 2010 by
For every soon-to-be wife, there is always something that they look forward to other than the exchanges of “I do” and all the kissing. The night following the wedding might just be one of the most exciting, most memorable nights of the couple’s married life. This night is called the honeymoon night and to be able to achieve an unforgettable honeymoon, appropriate honeymoon planning is necessary.
Planning where to go on your honeymoon is just as grueling as the wedding preparations. There are a lot of things that need to be considered. To make it easier for you, here are some factors that you should think of when planning your honeymoon.
Just like your wedding preparations, you need to consider your budget when doing your honeymoon planning. Do you have enough budget to go out of the country or not? Sometimes, however, if the couple really wants to go somewhere different at the cheapest price, a little research will be able to help to. Log on to various travel websites to get an idea on how much the possible expense will be for a specific destination.
As soon as you have settled on a budget, your personal interests will now help you in deciding where you should go for the honeymoon. What do you, as a couple, like doing? If you love adventure, find a destination that has modern amenities for various adventures, most especially if your type of adventure is kind of extreme.
Usually, the current weather in the couple’s hometown dictates where the couple will go for their honeymoon. If you live in New Jersey and your wedding falls on a winter month, going somewhere warmer such as the beach will be a good choice. The opposite applies for couples who live somewhere warmer. For most couples, the weather and the budget are what normally do a lot of the honeymoon planning for them.
Now that you know how much you will be spending, your personal preferences, and the ideal climate in the honeymoon destination, the only thing left in your honeymoon planning is actually pinpointing a specific destination. Common honeymoon destinations includes such beautiful locations as France and Italy, but you can also wander in a different direction and visit less popular but equally romantic places such as Brazil instead of Mexico and Boracay instead of Phuket. Not only will you get to enjoy almost the same activities, you will do so in a less crowded place.
Planning a perfect honeymoon may sound intimidating but the truth is, with a little help from internet research, finding the perfect honeymoon destination is much easier than you would think. With websites that are dedicated to travel and honeymoon planning, you will never run out if ideas from luxurious vacations to cheap backpacker packages. All it takes is a little bit of patience and some time in front of your computer and in no time, everything will fall into place. Remember that if your honeymoon is the first night you will be spending as a married couple, make it fun-filled so the memories will last a lifetime.

Budget Guide To An Orlando Honeymoon
September 29, 2010 by
Planning a honeymoon to Orlando is generally fun and exciting. However, trying to narrow down where to stay at and which attractions to visit out of seemingly limitless choices can also be stressful and overwhelming. This is often particularly true if you are on somewhat of a tight budget. There is no need to worry though as I will be more than happy to assist you with this!
The first step is to figure out what the two of you are going to do for lodging. One great thing about staying in Orlando is that there are lots of nice places to stay at that are also very reasonably priced. Sleep Inn Maingate would be an excellent choice. They offer excellent accommodations such as a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker and high speed internet just to name a few! What is even better is that they are located right next to all of the various Walt Disney attractions, and Sleep Inn Maingate even offers free shuttle service to these attractions!
Speaking of Disney attractions, I would definitely recommend that you spend some time visiting Walt Disney World while on your Orlando honeymoon. The reason for this is that are just so many fun things for you and your sweetheart to experience together there! While visiting Walt Disney World can sometimes be really expensive, even those on a tight budget can still manage to have a fabulous time there! One way to save money at while there is by buying your snacks and beverages ahead of time at a local grocery store in Orlando. You can then bring your food and drinks with you in to the park by carrying them in a backpack. This alone will save you a lot of money since the food sold at Walt Disney World is usually quite pricey. You may also want to check out some of the restaurants in Orlando, as there quite a few of them that are excellent but very reasonably priced.
Another way to save on money at Walt Disney World during your Orlando honeymoon is to be sure to make sure you either dress in layers or bring a change of clothes with you. For example, in case it starts pouring while you’re there, you’ll want to have a poncho or at the very least a sweatshirt with you. Otherwise, you will end up having to purchase an overpriced sweatshirt or poncho from one of the vendors at the resorts in order to stay dry, and I’m sure that you probably don’t want to have to do that.
While you’re in Orlando, you may also want to take a short trip over to Miami as Miami also has a lot of wonderful things to offer honeymooners! For example, if the two of you are animal lovers, then I would highly recommend that you check out the Miami Metro Zoo. There is practically every animal imaginable here, and they even have camel rides that you can go on!
I wish you and your soon to be new spouse the best of luck, and I hope that you both have a wonderful, fun-filled time on your Orlando honeymoon!

How To Pick The Perfect Honeymoon Destination
August 6, 2010 by
Planning a wedding can be stressful. One of the most enjoyable parts of wedding planning can be choosing a Honeymoon destination. Picking a Honeymoon destination may seem easy but when you are suddenly confronted with the choices in location and accommodations you may find that suddenly you have a much harder time deciding where you want to go. Here are a few tips on choosing a great Honeymoon destination.
Think about how private you want your Honeymoon destination to be. Some people do not mind staying at a large resort that has hundreds if not thousands of rooms. Other people want a more intimate Honeymoon destination where they may be sharing accommodations with only a handful of other guests. For example, a Vacation, Maldives may mean that you are staying at a large, five star resort that has one or two main buildings where you interact with many other couples and families. Or, another Vacation, Maldives may involve a small, intimate resort with separate buildings for each guest. The last thing you want is to be surrounded by many other people when you and your new spouse want to be alone together.
You may also want to think about staying at a hotel or resort that is reserved for adults or couples only. There are options to choose from in many tropical locations. This can be fantastic. If you do not want to spend your Vacation, Maldives surrounded by other people’s children you may want to look for this information when booking the hotel or resort you will be staying at.
If you have decided on a Vacation, Maldives or a vacation at any of the other tropical resorts and hotels you should make sure that you read up on the country that you are planning to visit before you book your holiday. Find out when the best time of the year would be to visit and whether there are any weather considerations that may make it undesirable for you to travel there. If, for example, you are getting married during a time when your preferred destination would normally be experiencing the rainy or hurricane season you may want to think about either delaying your vacation or picking another location to visit.
For example, if you are planning a Vacation, Maldives you should be aware that there is a wet season that stretches from May to November. Although a Vacation, Maldives can still be fun and exciting during this time you may want to ensure that you bring clothing that is appropriate for the weather. There are other popular places that a couple may choose as their Honeymoon destination so doing your research can be very helpful when it comes to packing and for choosing which items you will bring with you.
Once you know where you want to travel you can begin to search for discounts in order to make your honeymoon more affordable. One way to do this easily is to look online. You may be able to get deals on hotels and airfare that may not be available through a conventional travel agent. This is because online travel agents may be able to book a larger volume of rooms and therefore get a better price than would be available anywhere else.
If you are considering a Vacation Maldives for your Honeymoon destination , check out i Have Not Been There. This is an online travel agent specializing in truly luxurious accommodations in unique and exotic locations and it can offer you amazing prices on beautiful places to stay.

Honeymoon Planning
September 3, 2009 by admin
Just like planning a written report or news article, you have to know the who, what, when, where and how in regards to your honeymoon planning. The who and what portions of the planning are no-brainers as the who refers to you and your intended while the what refers to the honeymoon. So do you have any ideas as to the when, where and how in referring to your honeymoon planning?
Typically, most honeymoons occur within a few days of the wedding ceremony although that is not always the case. Some people will plan the wedding based on school or work schedules and plan a honeymoon trip later when both parties can get a large chunk of time off for vacation. Others will decide where they want to go first and then decide on the when in regards to honeymoon planning. If you and your intended have your hearts set on a skiing vacation, then the obvious when in regards to honeymoon planning will be sometimes in the winter months. However, in seeking a tropical destination, the when could occur at any time of year.
Knowing where you are going is crucial to the where part of honeymoon planning. For strict budgets, you will likely stick close to home with the idea of going all out in a few years on a more extravagant vacation. Looser purse strings might see you venturing abroad to foreign countries either by cruise ship or by plane. The where in honeymoon planning is also influenced by what you and your intended’s likes and dislikes are in terms of weather and available activities. Tropical settings offer up the most opportunities for newlyweds and they are also romantic as well.
Unfortunately, the buck sometimes stops right where you don’t want it to – your dream destination for your honeymoon. Unless you want to be in debt for a few years while you pay off your dream honeymoon, it pays to be more sensible in your honeymoon planning. There is no reason not to choose a destination based on what your budget will allow and still plan that dream destination vacation for a later date. For some couples, a cruise makes economical sense in terms of the how of honeymoon planning. Your food, drink, activities and accommodations are not only under one roof but also part of one price. Plus, with this type of honeymoon, you can still see new places each time the ship makes port during your cruise. Let your budget dictate what you can and cannot afford in terms of your honeymoon destination. Honeymoon planning doesn’t have to be rocket science, just plain old common sense with a hint of dreams and romance thrown in.
